Lowcountry Valentines is the idea of Dodeline Design head hauncho, Sarah Early. After crossing paths with two fellow designers earlier this year, they collaborated on a project that would make it simple for other locals to find their wares.

Et voila! Enter a one-stop-shop for all things fabulous and Valentine-y, without all the icky schtick of big box shopping. Simply put, wonderful.

And, if for some reason you abstain from the holiday of hearts and flowers and lurrrve, the project will live on past February 14th as Lowcountry Handmade.

For Early, shopping local is a no brainer decision.

“Forgive me…but I don’t think Wal-Mart values my buying a card there quite the same way,” muses the stationery designer.
